The battery thermostat allows for 3 different warmth settings, depending upon outdoor conditions and personal preferences: *125 F lasts up to 2 ½ hours between recharges *108 F lasts up to 3 hours between recharges *100 F lasts up to 4 hours between recharges   Simply leave the batteries in the "Off" position when the Summer temps are warm.

With 1 person, the middle portion of the hammock bed is warmed by the heating elements.
